Welcome to the Vallentine Mitchell website.

Vallentine Mitchell was founded over sixty years ago and one of our earliest publications was Anne Frank’s Diary. In the 1990s we launched the Library of Holocaust Testimonies and over a twenty year period published a little over 60 books in this series.

Our primary areas of publication are Jewish, Middle Eastern and Holocaust studies. We publish for both the scholar and the general reader and have offices in London and Portland, Oregon.

Subjects covered include Jewish history, culture and heritage, Jewish thought, Middle Eastern history, politics and culture and the Holocaust.

Vallentine Mitchell welcomes the opportunity to consider new works. Proposals may be sent to editor@vmbooks.com.
